What a summer! And Christmas is fast approaching!

Updated: May 8

Over the weekend of 9th and 10th July we competed in two amazing competitions, and we are so proud to announce we came third in the female voices category at the Llangollen International Eisteddfod on the Saturday, and then rushed back to the midlands to open the show for the Finals of the Midlands Choir of the Year on Sunday 10th!! Exhausted was an understatement!

We are now preparing for our autumn and winter programme, and are pleased to announce a joint concert with the Newcastle-under-Lyme University Hospital Orchestra on Sunday 9th October. This will be in the beautiful setting of the Keele University Chapel, which is a new venue for us. We hope our regular supporters will joins us, and that we will also be welcoming lots of people from the Keele and Newcastle areas who are new to the Chanteuse experience. As a joint concert between these two wonderful music groups this promises to be a fantastic evening of old favourites and some new pieces too - we hope to see you there.

Tickets are £10 which includes interval refreshments, and can be booked via the website in the usual way on our website, just follow this link:

After this we will be getting into the Christmas spirit and are performing Carols by Candlelight at Sandon Hall on Wednesday, 30th November, and Christmas Joy at the Memorial Hall, Great Haywood on Saturday 10th December. Tickets for these two events will be available very soon - watch out for an announcement!

Finally , we would love you to join us for a much more relaxed evening - Carols down the Pub - on Friday 16th December at the Shoulder of Mutton in Hamstall Ridware. This is a free event but charity donations will be welcomed. This will a great fun evening with the chance to sing along with us to those timeless Christmas favourites and enjoy the hospitality of this wonderful country village pub. What a great way to start Christmas week!
