October 2023 saw Chanteuse Chamber Choir and our faithful supporting crew venture to the Isle of Man Festival of Choirs. Badged as the 'friendly festival' we were excited to return to this lovely island, ready to hear wonderful music and meet other choirs. It did not disappoint! We had a fantastic weekend of fun, laughter and the most amazing singing!
We sang our hearts out in the huge Villa Marina and received very complimentary comments from the adjudicator, including one piece being one of the standout performances of the whole competition!
We also brought home a new trophy to add to Sue's growing collection. This was the first competition for our newly formed small ensemble, Chanteuse Enchantée. We all proudly brought home the trophy for the best small ensemble performance.
